Our family safety plan
Family: Date:
1 Our safe adults
People our kids can go to for help, and who may pick them up.
2 Our family code word
If someone not on our list says they're picking you up, they must know this word. Don't tell anyone else.

4 Body safety rules
- Your body belongs to you. You can say no, even to an adult you know.
- No secrets about touching. Surprises are OK; secrets are not.
- If something feels wrong, tell a safe adult. You will never be in trouble for telling.
5 Online rules
- Don't share where you live, your school or where you are.
- Tell us about new online friends, even if they seem your age.
- No one should ask you for photos or to keep a secret. If they do, tell us.
6 If you're lost or feel unsafe
- Stay where you are, or go where there are people.
- Ask a parent with kids, or an employee in uniform, for help.
- Yell "You're not my parent!" if someone tries to take you.
